Health Care reforms and poor economical situations in our Country threaten the physical well being of the amputee community by way of not making the best technology and amputee solutions available to the general public at an affordable cost.

Advanced technology is saved for participants in medical trials, the well funded or insured, and the famous.  It is our goal to to change that by providing amputees the artificial limbs they need to overcome their disabilities, while accomplishing their own chosen daily activities, returning to personal interests or hobbies and reaching self set goals.

While two legs are "said" to be better than one; some people may argue that it really depends on the leg.  Not just any leg...is good for every body! 

Depending on our skills, talents and interests; the muscles, joints and articulation of the leg changes to meet our bodies needs.  Without advanced technology, a basic prosthetic leg does not respond like the body used to, which can be limiting.  Imagine for a moment that your brain instructed your leg to move left and your leg didn't respond.  It is the equivalent  to an amputee having the wrong type of artificial limb in place to complete a task, no matter what your brain says, the prosthetic limb does not respond properly.

Please help Fight II Walk bring prosthetic limbs to amputees in need, while bringing public awareness to the strife and tribulations of the amputee community as a whole.
